Prior to establishing Pinecrest Physical Therapy in the Spring of 2005, Ron worked in several different clinical settings throughout the country. He worked side by side with some of the best clinicians in the country specializing in sports medicine rehabilitation. While working at an outpatient sports medicine facility in Wilmington, North Carolina, he taught Therapeutic Modalities as an adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Following a move to Orlando and then back to his hometown of Miami, Ron has continued to evaluate and treat clients with various conditions helping them return to an active lifestyle. He has had success re-conditioning high-level athletes, from the high school to professional level, helping to regain their form and return to their sport.

Before joining Pinecrest Physical Therapy, Montsy spent 6 years at
Jackson Memorial Hospital working with a diverse population. Her
experience with post-surgical patients ranges from orthopaedic and
neurologic trauma to adolescence and post-partum rehabilitation. With
her certification in lymphedema management, Montsy has worked with
post-masectomy |
women to reduce upper extremity swelling as well as plastic surgery cases in order to improve cosmetic outcomes. She has also been involved with local university physical therapy programs, including Florida International and University of Miami, participating in student training and internship programs. |

Stacy Troy graduated from the inaugural Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at the University of Miami. She has worked in a variety of settings including in-patient neuro-rehabilitation, acute care, and outpatient facilities. She has advanced training in cervical and lumbar pathology treatment, with a special interest in adolescent sports injuries. |

A graduate of the 2008 DPT class of the University of Miami, Kevin focuses his efforts in the rehabilitation of high school and collegiate athletes. As a former baseball player and pitching coach, Kevin brings a special skill set to our facility as compared to other therapy clinics. After completing his clinical internship with us, Kevin returns to our clinic as a licensed therapist. In addition, Kevin was also the recipient of the Leadership award for his graduating physical therapy class. |

Jan graduated from the Doctor of Physical Therapy class of 2009 from the University of Miami with honors. His areas of interest include orthopedic and sports related injuries and rehabilitation with a focus on manual therapy. |
He is also interested in injury prevention training for every type of athlete. At Rutgers University Jan worked as a student trainer for the Rutgers University D1 football and mens soccer team. Jan brings a long history of playing soccer to our clinic and enjoys training for triathlons. |
